CPE have an extensive range of vacuum filters, all of which are custom designed and manufactured for each particular application.

The vacuum filter product range contains the following designs:

Horizontal Pan Filters: The Horizontal Pan filter is suitable for continuous filtration of rapid settling, free filtering solids and is designed for ease of installation and simple and reliable operation. CPE has pioneered design developments with this product that enable superior flatness tolerances to be achieved, thus eliminating installation and operating difficulties. Rotary Drum Filters: The Rotary Drum filters are available in a variety of configurations depending on the process application. Differing cake discharge mechanisms (scraper, string, belt, precoat or roller) are available and we can also include a precoat system to enhance filtrate clarity or assist with cake build-up. Travelling Belt Filters: The Travelling Belt filter is suitable for continuous filtration of fast draining slurries. It is particularly suited to filtration applications where thorough cake washing is required under harsh operating conditions. The CPE belt filter has been designed to ensure filter efficiency is consistently high since fresh slurry always meets a clean filter media. Equipment is available in sizes ranging from 1 m2 to 70 m2.

Products include:

Horizontal retractable shell/bundle: This type of filter has the filter leaves positioned vertically in a horizontal filter tank. Cake removal can be accomplished dry by means of a pneumatic vibrator, or wet by means of an oscillating sluice header. Filter sizes range from 5 m2 to 180 m2.
Vertical dry/wet cake discharge: This economical type of pressure leaf filter is equipped with vertical rectangular filter leaves. These leaves are mounted vertically and connected to a filtrate manifold at the bottom of the filter tank. Available with filter areas ranging from 2 m2 to 85 m2.
Pulse Tube filters: Is a vertical filter for dry or wet cake discharge and may also be used as a dynamic thickener or as a polishing filter after pressure leaf, vacuum or belt filters.
Rotojet filters: Available in single and double conical and ‘V’ sump configurations. This type of filter has proved its versatility in many difficult applications and is available in sizes varying from 3 m2 to 200 m2.
