Colour pigments and textured finishes are used extensively in the building industry.

Chemical Plant & Engineering (CPE) designs and manufactures powder blenders  for mixing pigments and other building materials. The accuracy and quality of the mix is critical to ensure the colours are fully dispersed and developed. The powder blenders can achieve complete and accurate mixing and dispersion of colour pigments.

PADDLE MIXING TECHNOLOGY

The paddle technology used by CPE offers a unique fluidising system and quick volume changeovers as the product is transported around the mixer body. In addition, a high efficiency cutting system for pigment development, results in improved mix quality and faster mix times. This creates the potential to reduce batch cycles and increase plant performance.

FULLY DEVELOPED COLOURS

One of the most important features of this technology is that it is totally independent of the mixing enclosure. This system can be applied to an existing unit or installed as original equipment from one of CPE’s bulk mixer product lines.

Single paddle mixers are recommended for optimum mixing performance in this application. These mixers are available in 85lt to 5400lt capacities.
